I don’t do as much needle felting these days, but I couldn’t resist making these adorable catnip toys. I personally am a huge fan of Peeps so when I saw these made in a felting group Then I paired it with two different styles of felted Easter egg toys. If you simply leave them unstuffed, this craft makes for super cute springtime and Easter decorations.

I love playing with melt and pour soap because it’s so easy to use. I therefore love to find new objects to make into soap, which is how I came up with this candy soap idea. And who knows, maybe because it looks like candy it will encourage them to wash their hands! Because of the ring on the back, it makes it really easy to hold and use.

I painted the surface of the table with Folk Art Home Decor Chalk Paint in the color Silver Shadow. While the table top was drying I painted the legs with Folk Art Home Decor Wood Tint in white. so I decided to paint the legs with Folk Art Home Decor Chalk Paint in the color white. When I ran out of paint, I dipped the brush into the paint, offloaded the paint on the paper plate, then continued tapping on the stencil.

I’m at it again making more seasonal decor with terra cotta flower pots! I painted 3 10″ terra cotta flower pots with Folk Art Home Decor Chalk Paint in the color white. I used silicone and added it to the edges of the flower pots and … assembled the pots like this and let them dry. I hot glued a bunny ears head band to the inside of my top flower pot.

Yes, March 10th is Mario Day a day to celebrate Mario and his awesome fans. They are super easy and with just a few additions, turn into perfect little super mushroom or Goomba. I keep a pack of origami paper on hand but regular paper works too, just make sure it’s thin because you’ll need 2 sheets to make these. Once they’re made we folded in the sides to round out all the corners and then added bits of paper for the power up mushroom and drew on some features to make the Goomba!
