3 Days on Møns Klint: stay in a romantic glasshouse

My number one tip, and the point of this blog-post is, that I recommend not just doing a day-trip, but instead staying at least 2 nights on Møn to get a full experience of the Cliffs and the nature on the island. There are lots of things to do in the Geological Center, and this is why most people end up staying an entire day in this area. The next day I would recommend going a little further away from the main area. However, should you still feel adventurous enough to want to go hike further, then here are some other spots I recommend: I really hope you decide to give this amazing place the justice it deserves by staying a couple of nights or more.

5 Hidden Nature Gems near Copenhagen

When you reach Haarlev you can take the 252 bus directly to Hojerup, which is a 5 minute walk away from Stevns Klint. To get to Spodsbjerg Fyr from Central station, you will need to take the S-train to Hillerod and thereafter take the 920E L-train to Hundested. To get to Amager Faelled from Norreport Station you will need to take the M1 Metro, get off at Bella Station and walk/bike. It is super easy to reach, however, it is a big area and if you want to reach “Kalvebod” you have to be prepared for a long walk.

    10 plastic alternatives

What you can do to change that is to buy from loose market areas in the shop (or in an actual loose market shop), and store the grains, seeds, nuts and beans in air tight food jars instead of plastic packaging. * Growing own herbs, veggies (if possible), or buying from loose market Packaging is one of the biggest contributors to the environment, and if you are like me, then you will have noticed how much packaging is involved when it comes to fruit and vegetables. Instead of wrapping your sandwich or any kind of leftovers in foil, try using Stainless Steel Food Containers, and if that is not an option, opt for more sustainable wrapping such as wax wrapping (even better, if plant wax and not beeswax). Instead of choosing a plastic chopping board, opt for Hard Wood Chopping Boards, whilst making sure you are choosing boards that use sustainably grown or salvaged woods.

    What is mindful travel?

Traveling gives a sense of freedom as well as experiencing new things and learning. I’ve personally always thought that traveling should always involve: a plane or a car and a new country. Instead of being sad and disappointed when travel is not possible, I now plan trips around my city/area that I’ve never been to, I now research and try out new cafes and restaurants in my city [actually in a new cafe as I am writing this] , I now take up new languages and teach myself about new countries and their cultures, so that when visiting, I have a little more knowledge about the country’s history, language and cuisine.

    5 Types of Sustainable Accommodation

Your accommodation is one of the main things that you can change to be a little more mindful and sustainable on your travels. With Airbnb, I would say, to use it as smartly and sustainably as possible: locate yourself close to the things you want to explore, research if the Airbnb is doing anything for reducing its carbon footprint and most importantly: rent only the size you actually need 3. Servers of Ecobnb are powered 100% by renewable energy produced on-site” You will find some incredible places to stay on here. do your best” is stay in a cheap hotel/hostel, if you cannot afford anything else, however align your actions with being eco-friendly.

5 ways to travel from home

So instead of giving you a “top ten things to do in [insert country]”, I have decided to focus on achieving the feeling of traveling – and instead give you ways that you can travel from home. Picking up a language of a place you want to visit, will not only get you some basic language tools, it will also teach you a bit about the country at the same time. If you feel a bit stuck on what country to choose, I recommend trying Ethiopian, Balinese and Danish [obviously] recipes. There is something about waking up early to go watch the sunrise that really just gives me travel feels.

    8 Hidden Gems of Copenhagen

Reffen is a Street Food place that is a little bit out of the way, and for that reason, a lot of people miss it. It feels so peaceful to walk through here, and I would recommend going here if you: * want some quiet time * want to meditate * want to see some cute alpacas Bellueve Beach (Klampenborg) However, be sure that you do not miss the most beautiful beach near Copenhagen, Bellueve Beach. If you need more Copenhagen inspiration, I recommend checking out my guide Day-trips from Copenhagen.

    5 Day-Trips from Copenhagen

The Sound is a gateway to the Baltic Sea and from 1429-1857 Denmark controlled this passage thanks to Kronborg Castle. If you need a getaway from the busy hustling and bustling of Copenhagen inner-city, then I would strongly recommend going to the little fishing town Dragor. This place is yet another magical place near Copenhagen, that is an absolute must-visit. This way you will not only find some pretty incredible pieces of work but also see new sides of Copenhagen that are not necessarily all in the big touristy areas of Copenhagen.
