Being inspired by traveling to The Keys, Owners Dani & Len Johnson started Better Than Sex in Key West in 2008. In 2010 Better Than Sex was featured on the Travel Channel which increased their exposure that by 2012 the owners knew the small restaurant in Key West needed a bigger location. One month after opening their second restaurant, I was working for Orlando Weekly Magazine at the time and was asked to be the promo model for their grand opening. Since then I grew a wonderful friendship with Owners Dani & Len Johnson, Managing Partner Tia Marquinez, General Manager/Kitchen Manager Jordan Wilson & all the other staff members.

It’s definitely best to visit during a clear sunny day than a raining and windy day. The excursion began with a scenic drive to Blarney, where we had plenty of time to visit the world-famous Blarney Castle, its expansive gardens, and to kiss the Blarney Stone. The castle is fairly small, but the views of Lake Killarney & Killarney’s National Park were absolutely gorgeous! The Torc Waterfall in the Killarney National Park is beautiful and definitely a great spot for photos.
