I wanted to come up with some creative Easter basket ideas that would replace the candy-ridden Easter basket mistakes of my past. So I’ve put together a list of 10+ non-candy Easter basket ideas your kiddos will love! And before you get the impression that I’m super health-conscious and trendy, I’ll go ahead and point you in the direction of my FAVORITE Easter cake recipe that is straight up shameful, ya’ll. What are your go-to Easter basket ideas and what do you guys put in your eggs for the Easter hunt?
I just want to note that I was fully convinced that I came up with the term Bach party for a combined bachelor/bachelorette party until I used the hashtag on Instagram. I decided upon these awesome bread favors (because who doesn’t like bread? ) with a homemade herb-infused olive oil inside of a reusable wine tote. The bread could be eaten as a snack in the limo or at the wineries, and if anyone from our party decided to buy a bottle of wine during the trip, they would have a cute little sack to carry it in. The herb infused oil recipe I used is HERE, and I’ll also attach the little tag template I used for the party favors as well as the diamond template below if you’d like to use it!
I have so many questions about my Cobalt Blue Christmas dress (and Isla’s matching dress) that I’m going to go a whole separate post later, but for now I’m focusing my wardrobe on those super cozy winter/spring staples that you just will be living in for the next couple months. I’m so late to this trend, but I cannot stress how comfy this bralette/comfy sweater combo is! It’s one of my favorite Christmas traditions and I’m absolutely loving taking Isla. If you’re looking for a good nude/neutral lip color, my go-to lip color right now is Jubilee from MAC.
I know every year it seems like I have this giant bucket list of all the things I want to do, and then time just gets away from me. Our non-married, childless friends have become like aunts and uncles to Isla, and we love them like family! During the Holidays is really the only time I wear red lipstick, and it took me a long time to build up the confidence to wear it. It’s so bold, and sometimes I feel like its a little much on me – but during Christmas, I just suck it up and wear it because I like it!
