Part 2: @foundnorthwhisky BATCH 009 - 19 YR. REVIEW The nose is extremely nostalgic for me with shoe polish, leather and well weathered wood! The palate is elegant, a little haunted with dusty old books and old cabins in the woods, and the thicc-ness (viscosity)I’d give an 8/10! Thank you so much @chris_riesbeck for getting these to me! Torabhaig Cnoc Na Moine - a winner in my book! What a beautiful meaty, crème brûlée, salty whisky! While I may be completely rambling here, I really wanted to come on here and just say thank you from the bottom of my heart for each and everyone of you showing support around this release with @killowendistillery ! It really is a dream come true and I feel so grateful to be a part of this community and to be in it with you and I hope that you have an opportunity to taste this little piece of Ireland and if anything it just enhances your love for the category and inspires you to continue to explore the world of Irish whiskey! I just realized that the whole review didn’t post, so here’s round 2! 🥴 TEELING WHISKEY WONDERS OF WOOD : No.3 The third edition to the WOW series, Master Distiller @alexchasko at @teelingwhiskey has fully aged Single Pot Still Teeling distillate in Swedish Oak! The notes of cedar, sandalwood, santal and almond extract are an absolute treat, and this may very well be my favorite of the series so far! Plus with each Wonders of Wood series, Teeling partners with @treecouncil to plant an acre of native Irish trees throughout Ireland!
