Missouri dominated Kentucky on defense and in the running game in the Tigers’ 20-10 win Saturday, facts that did not go unnoticed by the Southeastern Conference.
Linebacker Nick Bolton, who led a stifling defense Saturday, was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week.
Right guard Case Cook, an anchor on an offensive line that overpowered Kentucky’s vaunted defensive line, was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.
The Mizzou defense limited Kentucky to just 145 total yards, of which only 47 were through the air, and only 36 plays from scrimmage, all the lowest numbers against Mizzou since the Tigers joined the SEC.
