It’s Monday (againnnnnnn). We have 20 something school days left before summer vacation. I know so many women (myself included at times) worry about summer wardrobe (shorts, swimsuits, you already knowwwww). Well what if we stopped worrying? Wear the swimsuit! Wear the shorts! Wear the dresses or whatever else you want to wear. You’re beautiful. You’re imperfect. You’re great the way you are. When you wear your outfit with confidence, it will radiate off of you! Don’t attack yourself, your body, or the way you look. Focus on what you love about yourself. Confidence speaks volumes no matter your height, weight, shape or size. 💖⠀ ⠀ My friends can tell you that I say sternly (but with love) to stop their negative self-talk whenever I hear it. I won’t stand for it! I stop & think so often: do women do this to themselves their whole lives? My Grandma, who I miss dearly, was “watching her figure” in her 90s, which sounds so silly & she was half-kidding BUT really makes me think & hope that women can live their lives without their body image holding them back. This is a photograph from our last trip in December to Sedona, Arizona. Since then we cancelled trips to NOLA, Bermuda & Orlando/Disney as well as some weekend trips. We are hoping to resume travel as soon as it’s safe & appropriate. The girls when asked, said they want to go to Aruba or Disney World first! I can’t disagree with that! Family travel is a huge part of what I love to share & what we love to do as a family is explore new places together. What’s first up on your travel list? ✈️🧳💖

Hope everyone had a beautiful Mother’s Day! I had a great day with my family. My hubby made me the most delish brunch & 4 diff types of chocolate covered strawberries 🍓 (so yum)! The girls made me such beautiful cards & it was a gorgeous day so we spent time outside in the sun ☀️. Even though it wasn’t our usual Mother’s Day, my family definitely made the day special.😊💖. ⠀ ⠀ Moms, we have been in overdrive the past few weeks, taking on so many new hats & trying to keep things level for our kids. We are all adjusting to a normal that none of us experienced before & had no time to prepare for. #FlashbackFriday 🥰 ... I remember like yesterday when both my Princesses were born & the beautiful moments at home those first few weeks. #pamperspartner ... Both of my girls wore @pampersUS from the time they were born, until they became fully potty trained. This is an incredibly different & difficult time to be pregnant 🤰since Moms-to-be cannot go to baby classes, or appointments in the same way that we did before. Pampers is now providing *no cost* access to childbirth classes for expecting moms, incredible right? They are offering a free 9-part series lead by two clinical childbirth experts! The classes will cover the entire childbirth journey. Some topics covered will be breastfeeding 🤱, contractions, postpartum care, labor & birth, & anything else a traditional childbirth/or preparation class would cover. My feed has had a lot more fashion 👗👚👖than usual since the quarantine is not allowing for the usual "out & about" content filled with my regular life. I never refer to myself as a "fashion blogger" because it is one part of my content. I have always absolutely LOVED clothes & have a small (huge) shopping problem 💸 but I also love finding new pieces to buy & to share with other gals. I describe my style as classic, some trendy pieces, 90% black wardrobe (& the random pink, neon, or tie-dye thrown in), & love feminine touches like ruffles, lace, & off the shoulder clothing. I also loved distressed clothing, ripped, & random cutouts. My clothes are also "Mom" friendly. I need to be comfortable but cute while working from home & running around living that Mom Life. Buying & sharing affordable clothing is my fave. My vice would be more expensive bags 👜 , & shades 🕶, but everything else is extremely affordable. I never wear heels because I am 5'8" & I never liked wearing them. One of my most read blog posts is one I wrote last year is about internet safety. Watching Pinocchio actually sparred another round of talks with my girls about stranger danger & ways to handle potentially dangerous situations. We have been talking about safety & strangers since my girls could talk. For my own peace of mind, I draw some of my own lines when it comes to my business & social media channels. ➡️ I never write my children's NAMES, AGES, or BIRTHDAY publicly. My friends & family know never ever to comment their names on any of my business accounts. Strangers may like to pretend they know a child by knowing information about them to gain their trust. I keep all of their personal information very PRIVATE! ➡️ I never write where they go to school, dance school & any other activities publicly. ➡️ I never ever post where I am until I am long gone (day trips & vacations). This includes with or without my children being in tow. My own safety matters too. In all my travel contracts, I impart a clause that I will not post any content until I am home for my own safety. (We do this on our personal accounts too). ➡️ Be careful the information you disclose, and who you may be putting in danger by doing so. My husband has a small photography business, but I never talk about his full-time job because of where he works/the type of work he does. BOTTOM LINE 📣Talk to your kids about strangers. Make a plan if they are lost. Teach them a safety code word. Keep them prepared. We hope to never ever need them to use these skills we are teaching them but it is something that must be a CONSTANT conversation. These topics I taught so many lessons on as a School Counselor, & have read too much scary data in grad school to ignore. The world we live in has some sick people in it. My blog post being written was brought on by disgusting (& scary) messages that I received regarding myself, & my kids. Please talk to your kids about safety in public, safety online & give them the tools to know what to do in the scariest situations. May the 4th be with you! Every year the girls wear the Star Wars best on this day! Zoom in to see all the fun details on their dresses 👗. In November we were so excited to visit Star Wars Galaxy Edge at #wdw - it was soooooo incredible to see how perfectly it recreated the movies with no detail left unturned. We were supposed to visit again this month, that trip is now postponed but we look forward to getting back to #disneyworld as soon as we can! Are you a #starwars fan?! 💖
