Louise is making a few stops this week that should be fun, but be sure to catch The French Twist Food Truck and crew on a new Food Network show, “Food Truck Fan Fight,” tonight at 9 p.m. mountain time. If you didn’t catch our debut on the Food Network last night, you can catch it again at midnight on Friday, mountain time. At 4 p.m., The French Twist is setting up at its regular stop at Odd 13 Brewing, 301 East Simpson, Lafayette, and serving until 9 p.m., or until everyone is fed. We’ll be serving at Odd 13 Brewing, 301 East Simpson, Lafayette, from 12:30 to 8 p.m.
We are pumped to announce that Louise and the crew will be on a Food Network pilot that will air locally at 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, and midnight on Friday, October 20. The French Twist Food Truck competes with four of the best Denver-area food trucks to see who has the most popular dish on “Food Truck Fan Fight. If you’d like to sample the wares, The French Twist is open all winter and will be serving at the Schoolyard Cross cyclocross race at the Dawson School, 10455 Dawson Drive, Lafayette, on Saturday, October 20, and at Odd 13 Brewing, 301 East Simpson Street, Lafayette, on Sunday, October 21. I’ll write more about that later, but for now please check the Denver-based film company out at www.plebian.tv For more information about the “Food Truck Fan Fight,” visit www.foodnetwork.com/shows/food-truck-fan-fight/episodes/sham-rockin-in-denver#episode-tunein
Whether it’s a rehearsal dinner, the wedding reception itself or the send-off party for friends and family after the wedding, you can count on us to make the food and service special. We had the pleasure of doing numerous weddings this summer, including one for our special friends, Mario and Ashley. Ashley is the owner of Lovin’ Oven and bakes the best gluten-free goodies and always needs us to take some of the goods off her hands. If you are interested in having us for your special day, please fill out our event inquiry form and Michael will give you a call to talk about your vision and needs.
If you’d like to learn how to make French food at home, Michael will be offering cooking classes from November through March. The classes cover the gamut of classical French techniques, from knife skills to building up flavor profiles. Our classes also feature various French foods, including an omelete and scone class, a ratatouille class and his ever-popular egg roll class, courtesy the Mah side of the family. We’ll come to your home or we can reserve space with one of our event venue partners or commissary kitchens.
