Highlights
The Nanny Diaries

The funny thing was, if you read all the books and the well-meaning advice, the self-settling baby WAS achievable and SOMETHING you should strive for. Real babies seemed to do baby things, unpredictable baby things, and required much more hands-on parenting at all stages of the day and night. The catnapping, the agony when you finally, FINALLY get them to sleep but their eyes bounce open the second you put them down, awake as the wind and absolutely not going back to sleep at all, ever, thankyouverymuch. The kind of kid that would wake 11+ times in a night, the kid who didnā€™t sleep through the night until she was two and even then it was an accident.

The Throne Rangers Podcast Episode 14: Get Your Ferg On

Apparently haz and meg are gonna raise the baby vegan but the queen put the kybosh on that (I cannot even with this ā€˜storyā€™ and how on earth we would ever know this level of personal detail), Billy was getting one away with the neighbour, the lies were coming thick and fast all fortnight. Cathy visited with the scouts looking very Standard Cath Outdoorsy Barbie, Tatler sniffed at Our Meg, Henry planted some trees, Meg and Haz were papped coming out of a wellness centre (which sparked a whole other discussion about pap shots and lack thereof), and THE SUSSEXES HAVE THEIR OWN INSTAGRAM. Iā€™m off to follow the only royals who countā€ or ā€œTHANK GOD BYEEEEEE we are here for the true royals, the heir to the throne, and that ginger fella and his hollywood housewife can GTFOā€. Anyway, lets talk about Zaraā€™s hot AF shoes and why we donā€™t delve into European royalty when we chat BRF.

Home is where the heart is

For Big Fans of the Royal Fam Home is where the heart is And isnā€™t that lucky, because apart from brief surfacing, Iā€™ve not left it for a good 10 days. I think I have abs now from all the coughing (the coughing oh jesus the coughing), and even though Iā€™ve had it this long, I am still tired and my lungs feel heavy. I know I recorded a podcast (and then worried endlessly about it because I literally couldnā€™t make my brain work or string a sentence together), Iā€™ve spent many sleepless nights (coughing, kid vomit/moaning, trying not to cough and getting the watery eyes/basically convulsing with the effort, general pain and malaise) , Iā€™ve watched Morse, Iā€™ve watched Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Iā€™ve watched Grandma Daā€™thy and her Mississippi goodness, Iā€™ve listened to Ruth Rendell audiobooks, Iā€™ve had epsom salt bathsā€¦

Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits at the Bendigo Art Gallery

For Big Fans of the Royal Fam Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits at the Bendigo Art Gallery Of course a royal nut like me is going to get straight to a collection of royal memorabilia the everloving minute that she can. I wonā€™t spoil it for you, but this pic of the Queen and her family at Royal Lodge was my total favourite of the whole shebang (and I was in there 2+ hours, reading every detail of every image and every item). You can find the Tudors to Windsors exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery and itā€™s $25 for adults.
