I am working on my expertise as a lifestyle blogger. I am currently focusing on figuring out the reality of life and I love being honest on social media. I want everyone to see that they are not struggling alone. My primary goal is to be helpful in a way to someone out there.
We found those people in a time of need and after graduating you are not presented with a bunch of people your age to befriend. You go to work and interact with people from all different age groups and life isn’t just that easy anymore. Although they know me, and we get along these people live far away from me and apparently being a working adult is very different from being a college student. I am incredibly glad for the opportunities and the guidance I receive at my current job, but I had a different vision for what my life was going to be at age 24.
Wearing layers and/or curling up with a soft shawl is the absolute best when you stuck in the same spot for hours on end. It helps prevent the panic on hour 3 of a 13-hour flight because you can’t find your phone charger or your lip balm. Just changing into fresh undergarments after a 13-hour flight will change the way you deal with the rest of the trip. You never know what snacks will be offered and you most certainly do not want to be cranky for the first couple hours of your flight
I watch girls, I mean young women around my age falling in love with sweet young men that buy them flowers and hold their hands as they walk down the street I watch young women in relationships text their partners on the hour every hour with an update and think, god these people are so clingy. Maybe I feared the possibility of having everything snatched away, in one swift rip because life is just that kind to me. I started to think about life and just knew that there were things I was afraid to desire
However, the day the opposition coalition, Pakatan Harapan won, as in the day Malaysia had its truest sense of democracy was an awakening for me and honestly many others. The threats and the power of a small minority had kept that under wraps for decades but we the patriotic ones, the overwhelming majority learned our strength for the first time in 2018. Especially when things are good Unity is a pillar of our nation as it is in any other peaceful nation, but it doesn’t come as a result bowing to the government or embracing the choices someone else made for us. Wanting change, equality and loving the freedom we have does not make me any less patriotic than someone that sides with the ruling government (at any point in time).
