Johnson has stated that he wishes to be traded to a club that will use his skill set, and would prefer it happen prior to the season so that he can become acclimated to his new team’s offensive playbook, system and coaching staff. The running back has also said that if indeed the Browns are ultimately going to trade him because of running back Kareem Hunt - who will not become available until after the first eight games due to a suspension - that he wants to be traded now instead of later. Another obstacle for the Browns is the fact that Johnson inked a three-year contract extension last year for $15.61 million, with $7.75 million of that guaranteed.

An undrafted free agent, the 6-foot-5 and 303-pound Falemaka played collegiately at Utah, where he made 22 starts in 35 career games. He played the first two games of the 2015 season but missed the remainder of the year after being shot during a dispute at a house party. According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Falemaka was trying to help a woman keep the suspects from joining the party when he was shot. He returned in 2016 and played in 10 games, but would go on to suffer injuries to both his knees and have an appendectomy before his college career came to a close.
