But most of the scalper trade only for 1 or 5 minutes, 15 minutes trading is not so common. You can gain 5 pips or 10 pips if you trade for 1 min or 5 min respectively. Another point while choosing a currency pair to keep in mind is that you must choose a currency pair with low spread. You can set Stop Loss 2-3 pips below and Take Profit 8-12 pips above from the entry point.
