Can we talk about body image in pregnancy?! 🤓 When I first became pregnant I had a lot of old thoughts from years ago resurface. Eating disorder trauma stirred up a big fear of weight gain and it consumed my thoughts the first 6 weeks of pregnancy but as my bump and body have grown I’ve honestly never loved it more! I have never felt more SEXY, CONFIDENT, and HAPPY IN MY OWN SKIN! It’s been so liberating to appreciate my bodies changes for more than just how I look in my clothes. Doesn’t hurt that my hubby has been more attracted to my new pregnancy body and tells me how beautiful it is everyday! Hehe 😜 Grateful for the beautiful ways God shows us we can grow as women! 🥰

These two women were already some of my very best friends here in LA but the gift of going through pregnancy together has brought us even closer! WELL...Chris is outnumbered!! WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL AND WE BOTH ARE SO OVERJOYED! 😭💕 After 15 weeks of feeling like a boy mom was on my horizon, and after our anatomy scan where I accidentally saw the gender but convinced myself there was no way it could be a girl after all this time...MY HEART was in total shock and so much deep happiness to know I’m having a daughter ♥️ It’s always been a dream of mine to have a girl but to prepare my heart for the idea of having a boy first I really leaned into the idea of being a boy mom...even so much so that I dreamt about a boy nursery more, I gravitated towards the boy section always at stores, and had a few dreams this week it was a boy! I think it will take my heart a few days to start processing the girl news but it was always my dream to have a baby girl! I still cannot believe it!!! Chris has been kissing my stomach all day doting on her...as he has done everyday the past 25 weeks! Last weekend I had the honor of throwing a baby shower for one of my favorite people in this world! When I met you @jilianjet I remember being so taken back like kindred spirits on your biblical convictions in Christ! I have loved watching our friendship grow! Especially this past year and I can’t believe you’ll be down the street from me soon enough 🥳 Fun fact: Jilian and I started “trying” to get pregnant back in October and no one (especially Kaleb thought you’d get pregnant first!) But Gods timing for you guys has been so beautiful and I’ve prayed over baby Emma since the day you shared the news with us! She’s so precious to me already! And I know with all certainty you are gonna be the most loving and Godly mom! I’m so so excited for you guys and love you soooooo much!!! 🌸🍼 #babyseatoncomingjuly

Today was a BIG day for this career woman! I was able to buy myself a new car (in my own name haha) 😭🤩 Say hello to my newest ride, a 2019 Jeep Cherokee with 8,000 miles on it!!! I’ve been looking for the right new vehicle for this next phase of life: COOL MOM STATUS! Lol 😂 But for real, Chris and I have been very careful in the past as actors and bought cheaper cars in cash but it’s TIMMEEE....TIME for an upgrade with our new baby on the way. I wanted something safer and bigger for the bebe 💕 I saw this beauty online a few days ago and just knew it had to be mine and we got an amazing deal on it! I got emotional thinking about baby Fordy sitting in the backseat. 😭🥰 I can’t wait to drive home from the hospital in my Jeep! Also, @christopherfordinal was sooo supportive today and said “Do you want this car?” after a few hours of indecision on my part and I just said “Yes, I really do!” And he just went for it with me and supported me in my decision knowing that I’ve worked hard this year and God has blessed me with an amazing job to make this kind of purchase! God is so good: new job, new baby 👶, and new car this year! I don’t deserve all these gifts. Thank you Jesus!! ❤️

Happy MAMA’S DAY to all the moms out there! I cannot wait to be a Mom ❤️ it’s been a dream of mine since I was 12 years old and I watched my neighbors kids! Yes that’s you @ashlyn.may.28 😊 I remember growing up in the summers I worked as a mother’s helper and worked as a nanny for 6 years awaiting Gods timing and season for it to become my turn. My second ultrasound is tomorrow and with every new step I surrender my fears to Jesus and I trust him with my little baby 💕 thank you Jesus for this season of life, for giving me an amazing pregnancy, and a wonderful Dad to this little one inside of me! @christopherfordinal So so grateful!

HOW WE TOLD OUR FAMILIES LAST WEEKEND 😭❤️⁣ ⁣ I had two reasons why I waited to tell our community here in LA till after 10 weeks was 1) miscarriage statistics are the highest before 8 weeks so I was guarding my heart from everyone knowing in case something happened and 2) I wanted our big moment to be with family!!! And let me tell you it was one of the most special weekends in Dallas I’ve ever had! ⁣ ⁣ 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐝: We framed the sonogram for my Dad and his reaction was the cutest! ⁣ ⁣ 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐈𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐬: Chris had bought a new game and convinced his family to play it and had taped the sonogram to the brand new board game. ⁣ ⁣ 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫: I bought a wine bottle label that instead of “barefoot wine” it says “Babyfoot.” And the baby’s due date!
