Tru by Hilton: Something Truly Different for Every Type of Traveler

I loved that I didn’t have to be with the Tru Top It Breakfast Bar. Top It Breakfast, which offers an endless number of customizable breakfast items, features Kellogg’s cereals, including Raisin Bran, Special K and Froot Loops, and a mix of 35+ other toppings for busy travelers to mix and match when on-the-go. Whether you’re a travel enthusiast looking for value, a tech junkie, or an avid foodie, Tru by Hilton will meet your every need and the Top It Breakfast Bar will fuel your food whims.

St. Pete: One Hip, Artsy City

There’s so much to do and see in St. Pete, but here’s a few of my suggestions: What To Do & See in St. Pete: I’d seen Dale Chihuly’s beautiful glass creations in a few other cities, including Atlanta and Seattle, so I wondered what, if anything, would be different about The Chihuly Collection in St. Pete. The Dali Museum’s permanent collection is ultra-impressive and includes more than 2,000 pieces from the artist’s entire career. There’s a ton to do and see in St. Pete, but don’t leave without squeezing a bit of downtime at The Vinoy’s gorgeous pool and sipping a Blueberry Fizz cocktail from Paul’s Landing.

St. Pete Must-See: The Dali Museum

I was only a freshman in high school and didn’t quite know what to make of Dali’s work back when I visited the Reina Sofia museum in Madrid, but I found myself mesmerized by his bright colors and dream-like images. I visited the museum’s website before my trip and read about their current exhibit, “Clyde Butcher: I could see why the museum commissioned him to travel to Salvador Dali’s native Spain to capture the landscapes, towns, and ocean scenes that inspired Dali’s work for decades. I was looking forward to seeing the juxtaposition of Butcher’s photographs alongside the museum’s extensive collection of Dali’s works.

How to See New Orleans in 48 Hours

I’ve indulged in plenty of expertly made craft cocktails during my visits to New Orleans, but I had no idea just how legit the city’s cocktail history is. It was ridiculously fun and super interesting, and our tour guide’s knowledge relating to all things New Orleans and cocktails blew me away. We headed back to International House Hotel to freshen up and enjoy a couple of happy hour cocktails at the hotel’s lobby bar, Loa, before freshening up and heading to dinner at N7. Check out New Orleans & Company’s website for all the info you need to plan your weekend trip to NOLA.
