Dreamy views on the hike to Lake Tovel 🏔️🌿✨ I had never heard of the lake trail before and I was shocked but how absolutely gorgeous it was!! 🤩 the main lake (Lago di Tovel) was a bit busy, but the rest of the trail we had completely to ourselves when we hiked it in late June. The same lake, 5 years apart ⤵️✨ Who has been following the whole 5 years? 💕 Welcome to the beautiful Lago di Sorapis in the Italian Dolomites While I still LOVE the photo from 2019, I think the differences in the two show a lot of the changes in how I capture the world around me. My goal as a creator is to show the realities of travel, and that usually doesn’t look like me wearing a dress at the top of a big hike 😂 the recent shot was a quick iPhone snap rather than a full photoshoot. Visiting Italy this summer? Stay outside of the popular towns for the best views without the crowds! 🇮🇹🍕 We recently stayed in Venas di Cadore - a teeny tiny town located just 25 minutes from the popular Cortina d’Ampezzo. The town is along the famous bike and walking path — with a lovely bar and pizza shop.
