Join me in an interactive Yoga for Creativity workshop on January 17, 2021, with Wild Ginger Herbal Center, where we will explore the many ways creativity and Yoga intersect and how they fuel each other. for every uninspired, boring-ass yoga class I’ve been to, where the teacher acts as a strict compliance officer for rules and patterns laid down by patriarchal gurus whose authority is never to be questioned, raining “shoulds” like they’re getting paid for it (which they are), and generally making people feel inadequate for not being “able” to get into a certain shape or memorize patterns of movement May your Creativity and your Yoga practice collide spectacularly ☀️🌙 Creativity begins with an openness to possibilities – For anyone feeling a creativity block in any area of their life or if the Yoga practice has started to lose its allure, this workshop invites you into an expansive relationship with your practice –
Got me thinking back to some of the funny things I’ve heard people say on my travels and the could-not-have-made-this-up type of interactions I’ve run into on the road. A little later, I did get dangerously stuck about three-fourths of the way on that zipline and another guide had to clamber over to drag me to safety, so maybe he wasn’t entirely kidding….? n’t know about you, but I’m counting on a boatload of humor to get me through this little thing called 2020 🙂 Fingers crossed! I’d love to hear from you the funny interactions/anecdotes from your on-the-road memories, so let me know in the comments!
To make a difference in a farmer’s life within a few days, make an interest-free loan through – you must have heard these words before. To make a difference in a farmer’s life within a few days, make an interest-free loan through Rang De today. This year the focus at Rang De has shifted to small and marginal farmers because their needs have been the most urgent through the Covid-19 crisis which led to falling grain prices, reduced exports and reduced liquidity. Rang De’s goal right now is to help small and marginal farmers tide over the current crisis with the help of interest-free loans
SOS India is a part of SOS Children’s Villages International, which was founded by Dr Hermann Gmeiner in 1949 to protect and shelter children who were rendered parentless because of World War II. SOS Family Like Care (FLC) provides a loving home to parentless and abandoned children to grow up within the stability and security of a family, and a supportive community. People can support us in multiple ways; some sponsor one child fully, while some may sponsor only education for one or more children, while some may sponsor an entire Family home (sponsoring 10/12 children and all their expenses), and then there are few very generous donors who sponsor more than one family home.
