The first time I stumbled upon Garden Cottage Inn was in the Only in your State newsletter. I discovered Garden Cottage Inn is located right here in my hometown of San Clemente. What makes Garden Cottage Inn different from other Bed and Breakfast? The Garden Cottage Inn offers a unique layout in a great location with access to the beaches and trails in San Clemente.

On Feb 14, my family and I visited Louis Vuitton Men’s Temporary Residency in Rodeo Drive. As we entered, only four members are allowed to enter the pop-up so one of my family members switched with another family member as we were five. Los Angeles based photographer and filmmaker Alex Prager’s art installation, “Farewell, Work Holiday Parties” was unveiled at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on the weekend before Thanksgiving holiday. The title itself of the installation “Farewell, Work Holiday Parties” is relevant in today’s pandemic situation. The sculpture exhibition features 15 life-sized figures of varied genders and ages that represent a holiday party in various scenes at an insurance company. Farewell, Work Holiday Parties” is staged until Jan 3rd in the Smidt Welcome Plaza (the outdoor lobby) next to Chris Burden’s famous Urban Light installation.

On November 7, 2020 my family and I witnessed the lighting of what is being touted as the “Tallest Christmas Tree in the World” at the Outlets at San Clemente. I could not be more excited that the world’s tallest Christmas tree is in my neck of the woods (San Clemente) only a 10-minute drive from where I live. This year, the Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York City is 75 feet tall, the Grove Shopping Center in Los Angeles is 100 feet tall tree, Arizona’s tallest Christmas tree at the Outlets at Anthem is 70 feet tall and the Outlets at San Clemente is 125-feet tall.
