I love seeing all the flowers and trees start to bloom, and the longer days and warmer weather don’t hurt. A denim jacket is a wardrobe staple and perfect to throw on over when it’s a little cooler out. I added this straw hat with the bow detail to give sun protection and add a pretty detail to the outfit. Add in some fun espadrille sandals and you have the perfect cute but casual outfit.

If you are a little curvier, or have larger thighs/hips I’d suggest to get your normal size or SIZE UP!! Even the size 27 was a little tight in the butt/thigh region and think I would have preferred a 28. My shorts fit great in the waist, but the hips/legs were a little tight. I don’t mind that the shorts look a little more distressed than before I bought them.

I’ll likely still be wearing sweaters for a while since the weather will be pretty chilly, but I’m looking forward to getting out of my style rut. I picked up this bag recently to try out and love the pretty pinky/beige color of it. Quilted bags are easy to wear everyday but look dressy enough to wear for a night out. I grabbed this super cute smocked top and know I’ll be wearing this on repeat all spring and summer.
