My name is Beckie, the girl behind http://www.infarrantlycreative.net/. My blog features a lot of trash to treasure projects, which I have dubbed Roadkill Rescue. I focus on DIY, crafts, and home decor.
It’s always nice to have something pretty on the door to welcome your visitors. As you are freshening up your house for spring weather, don’t forget your door decor! My Soulful Home uses this burlap tote decorated with a vintage postal stamp to display a pretty floral arrangement on their front door. You may have seen a coffee filter wreath before, but just look at all the fun you can have adding color to this project with watercolor paints!
Today we have monthly IC contributor, Brook from Being Brook back with a St. Patrick’s Day Ruffled T-shirt. Now your knit edge is hidden with the ribbon giving it a clean, finished look. I used Martha Stewart glitter paint mixed at a 2:1 ratio with fabric medium. 4. My fabric medium needed a full 24 hours of dry time and then I just heat set the design with the iron.
Today I thought I would highlight a few St. Patrick’s Day crafts from the past to get you inspired! I am not one to even remember to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day, which is a total knock to my Irish dad who wears green, goes to an Irish Pub, and sends me a Happy St. Patrick’s Day card every year. Speaking of Hershey Kisses…here is my St. Patrick’s Day Hershey Kiss Countdown board. Do you wear green on St. Patrick’s Day or is it just another day for you?
If you need a last-minute St. Paddy’s Day treat this is super simple. Since Wilton carries every color of the rainbow of candy melts you can make it for every event. Melt half of the bag of the first color of candy melts following the manufacturer’s instructions on the back of the package. Serve it for St. Patrick’s Day or put it in small baggies and pass it out at school to all the kids.
