Funnily enough, we didn’t get a chance to meet Caroline and Josh until we went to photograph Kiana and Hannah’s wedding. When we got to Casa Feliz, we fell in love with their Old Bohemian wedding vibe. Caroline had mentioned that they wanted an old romantic vibe with plenty of literary inspiration. It’s always humbling when someone that knows the in’s and out’s of the wedding industry chooses us to photograph their big day. After tossing around some ideas for engagement session locations, we finally chose downtown Orlando. When we started realizing that the day was ending, we decided to finally head to the Balcony Orlando for some cityscape portraits and photos. Marta and I can’t wait for their big day at Paradise Cove.
When it comes to picking a wedding venue, you want to make sure that you’re going to have the best opportunity to get the best wedding portraits. Have that mix with the blue natural light that’s coming in through the window and things start to look a little weird. It’s important to keep in mind how things will look at your ceremony site during your ceremony time. Location, timing, and lighting are some of the most important things that we take into account when we’re planning things before the wedding day.
Marta and I met Katie and Ellen at the Florida Wedding Expo, in what feels like forever ago. We briefly talked about what they had planned for their Garden Elegance Inspired wedding at the Garden Villa.
