i’ve been self reflecting and realizing WOW i have grown and improved so much in this past year. last year at this time i was literally in the hospital for my colitis. that was the last time i’ve been to the hospital and it’s the last time i will ever be for that reason (i hope). i was way more anxious and sad and just overall, not that great. it’s crazy to look back this year and realize how different i am, physically but more importantly, mentally! i have challenged myself so much this year, accomplished so many things, and have become the most “me” i have ever been. i definitely have a long way to go, but sometimes you just need to acknowledge how much you’ve actually accomplished. it can be easy to get caught up in the moment and forget how much you’ve done for yourself.

‘lights up’ came out one of the nights i was at the beach & i listened to it while watching the waves. so i really love that i will always tie that song to such a beautiful place/memory
