We bought a house π and moved last Sunday. It was thrilling ride πof ups and downs and the climax, by God's grace was all good. π As the cases are at its peak, we planned the house warming to be simple with just Pooja. We only had my cousin sister family and brother-in-law. But I had to make this memorable, so I made a simple backdrop, door thoranam and a kolam at the entrance. Let's talk about the backdrop - my husband always says when we buy a house we have to bring cow πand calf inside the house just like how Grahapravesham is done back in India. He also mentions one of his friend did that ceremony (Gomatha Poojai) here in USA. But in today's scenario, we couldn't think about it but I want to somehow bring the cow and calf into the scene. I wanted a cow and calf that is not a pichawai painting and something that is relatable. We had 3 to 4 cows and a couple of calves in the backyard in my mom's house growing up( my mom still has cows) and always remember kamadenu picture hanging in our cow shed. So, I thought I will incorporate Kamadenu into my backdrop. I made all the garlands πΌπΊπ΅myself and I only wish I could have made it a little longer. Backdrop clothes are from @joann_stores I tried to put kolam after many many years and I am happy that I have a front yard and a concrete area to make many kolams and renew my kolam skills during the summer time. The Seer bakshanams are all from @24chakra We really enjoyed gobbling the Kai murukku and other bakshanams. Make this simple one-shot DIY Perler beads spring wreath to welcome and celebrate Spring. Step 2: Use a bead color of your choice and make the square shape for the outline of the wreath. Use a transparent color bead as the second line to hold and also to fill in the square shape better. If you feel like you want to add some sayings in the middle like "Hello Spring" you can use store bought metal wordings or cut your own in cardstock and glue them.

you are making Step 1: Trace the outline of the empty chocolate box onto the cardboard and cut the cardboard 0.2" smaller on all sides to make it fit inside the box. This Ruler is great to keep your cardboard edges straight: Step 3: Measure and cut the popsicle sticks using the pencil lines you drew in the previous step as guidance. Step 4: To make the puzzle stay flush to the base of the chocolate box and to avoid the bead rolling over add two to three popsicle sticks at the back of the cardboard to bridge the gap between the cardboard and the other side of the box. Make sure each slit you cut in the paper tube is facing in a different direction so that if you want to play the game like whoever puts one bead in each circle wins, the bead should be able to stay inside when the player is trying to put the bead in another circle.
