I am in love with all things thrifty and DIY. I enjoy fun projects especially making things from wood.
I am kind of giddy about my latest project...DIY Porch Planters, and hexagon shaped planters to boot! I love pretty flowers on my porch, in pretty planters... If you are new here then you should know that I have done many Planters (Check them out) in the past, and I also have a thing for Hexagons, so this was the perfect combo. Let's get started so you can make your own, they are pretty easy to build, so don't let that hexagon shape scare you, you can totally do this!
If you are stopping in for the first time you HAVE to pop over to my Bathroom/Laundry Room, One Room Challenge Week 1 where you can see all the before shots and my design inspiration. The cabinets over the washer and dryer were a bit challenging to remove because of the dryer vent going up through the bottom of the cabinet in to the wall. The damaged drywall was cut out from the ceiling, and then my friend's husband replaced the valves for under the vanity sink. Don't forget to check out The One Room Challenge Week 2 and all the other participants!
My Laundry room/bathroom in the dark dingy basement. Which means they have to be hooked up most of the time during this renovation, because I won't have a second to spare to visit the Laundry mat. We will be linking up at One Room Challenge each Thursday with updates on our rooms, and getting inspired to work hard and complete what we started in 5 extremely short weeks! ! ! I know my limits and so a little help can go a long way just like in my sister's Closet Laundry Room Makeover.
