Video Games By Women Developers You Should Play

Before I Forget is from 3-Fold Games, a indie game developer run by two women who make games with strong stories, exploring different perspectives. In Before I Forget, you explore the present to uncover the past, in a short story of love and loss and a life well-lived that examines a world where memories are constantly fading and jumbled. Gray Matter is a point-and-click adventure game written and designed by author and games designer Jane Jenson. In Gray Matter, Jensen tackles questions concerning the nature of reality and the power of the human mind in a mystery adventure that comprises 8 massive chapters.

March Madness: Grand Finale

We’re taking the winners of the previous brackets and putting them head to head to find my ultimate March madness winner! Mulan easily beats Harry Potter simply because of all the recent JK Rowling issues tainting the wizarding world for me. A childhood love versus a new love made this hard to choose, but Mulan pulled out on top thanks to it’s years of being a favorite. While Mulan does have many more years of love over Hadestown, I just adore this musical so, so much that it is the ultimate grand champion.

March Madness: K-Pop Bracket

I have 16 songs paired off for this bracket, all representing different artists, from boy groups to girls groups to soloists. With BTS being my first group ever and still my favorite, the win has to go to Blood, Sweat & Tears. After Midnight wins this round because it’s one of my favorite K-Pop songs of all-time. And while La Di Da is up there too, I just don’t want to listen to it as much as I want to listen to After Midnight.

March Madness: Broadway Bracket

I’m putting my favorite musicals head to head so let’s see who comes out on top! Like I did for the books bracket, I chose eight of my favorite musicals and used BracketHQ to create my brackets, randomizing how the pairings were made. Phantom of the Opera vs. Heathers Phantom of the Opera was my high school favorite that has faded away. American history takes the stage in this pair and Hamilton pulls through as my top pick.
