Belated thank you, to all the beautiful souls in my life, namely for making my birthday this year an extra special one! Pre-birthday, Jamiah took me to get my second piercing and we ate rai rai ramen on the roof together. On my actual birthday I got to see @jakerobwilliams and celebrate our birthdays together with friends and we "clapped out" the candles due to Coronavirus; we still had a good time and cooked a healthy feast together! The following weekend I got to see my family, Mom made key lime pie and @jamiahnj picked up a Tres Leche cake from the new Mexican spot in Highland Park! I don't think I ever had more than a day of celebration for my birthdays in the past, so this was a very different and welcome change of pace! With everything that has happened in the last year and what's yet to come, it's important to keep a positive mindset and keep doing what you want to do! Long post alert😅: Wow, these past few months have gone by so quickly since all of this started. 🤦🏼‍♀️ @jamiahnj & I are both well and still working with caution, using masks, gloves, sanitizers, bleach...all of it. 😳 I know everyone is affected differently by what's going on, but it's the little things that get to me in a big way. Like, how much I miss my mom's hugs...it was just her birthday in April and we couldn't have a birthday dinner like we normally would. Instead I brought over some dasies and rainbow cakes with some groceries...it was bittersweet.🌼 I've been working to use the 6-head @barudanamerica embroidery machine to create masks...and I'm REALLY close to a working prototype! The idea/goals are no gaps at the edges for maximum protection; a pocket for changing out a filter and of course a way to add custom silkscreen/ embroidery of your designs without compromising effectiveness of the mask. ☺️ If you have a personal or professional interest in purchasing masks, let me know!💌 Otherwise, I'm happy we have the opportunity to help local organizations & businesses continue to thrive! One of the coolest examples are the Fauci shirts our silk screen department has been cranking out for @olivebranchnj ! There's currently 3 designs to choose from & more on the way(link in the bio to buy)! On an individual level, I try to keep supporting local artists as well! Happy Easter! I've had the hardest time finding CBD drops I actually enjoyed taking...most seem to be plain(planty taste) or peppermint.
