It all started with Connie at 4.45am, although she did go back to sleep at 6.30am and missed the main event. Ella appeared at 6.35am shortly followed by Jack.. I love that Ella always opens Sox’s pressies before even going anywhere near her own.. Edgar visit after church, then D&N for dinner along with Cammy and Ellie..  Connie wins hands down for her bed hair! ! !

As we are now professional caravanners, we headed up the north coast for another fantastic weekend away in the caravan.. this time up to Water top farm just outside Ballycastle.. it only takes a few hours to get this bad boy set up! ! Finally the summer landed in Belfast just in time for the wonderful wedding of Victoria and Gareth. The ceremony took place in Belfast City hall on 28th April 2018, then Botanic gardens and Titanic buildings straight after for some bride and groom shots, before having the meal and reception in Ten Square Hotel, Belfast

This is a hard one as I take so many.. but recently I have been wanting to carry a camera with me, but not have the hassle and weight of my DSLR (Nikon D750 with Nikon 35mm F/2 lens). The camera is great, it has a very sharp 18.5mm f/2.8 fixed lens (28mm equiv on full frame) .. to some people that might be hard to get used to, but I generally use the 35mm on my D750, so this isn’t a million miles away. The photo was a snap shot at the side of the road, I got out, turned the camera on in A mode and snapped a shot handheld.. quick and simple..  for more photos from that weekend click the link below.. The camera has 16 lenses ranging from 28-150mm so covers a lot of ground and gives excellent control over DoF etc.
