The Best Places for Eating on a Budget in Milton Keynes

The crepes are absolutely amazing and are totally budget friendly at just £7.50 for a sweet or savoury one – and they serve them all day! A whole pizza comes in at well under £10 and the Margherita pizza is just £4.95, so you have absolutely no excuses not to try it next time The most recent addition to Central Milton Keynes, MK Gallery Cafe brings a much-needed eatery in a bright and bold setting. What to eat: Chicken Pad Thai, £6.95 or Dim Sum, £5.95 As with all my MK Food Guides, I’ll be adding to this post as I discover more independents in Milton Keynes.

What's on this Summer: The Best Events in MK, Bucks & Northants

Living near the border of Northamptonshire, I was able to flit between the two, so I thought I’d put together a summer events guide to the best events in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. Pub in the Park is an annual festival by chef Tom Kerridge and is a three-day foodie bonanza with music, amazing food, world-class chefs, Michelin-starred pubs all in one big, beautiful park. It’s a weekend full of great local vendors from Northants, Bucks and beyond and it’s shaping up to be a great weekend for 2019. Tickets for Towcester Food Festival are available here and are £8 – £10 per person with family and full weekend tickets available.

My Guide to the Most Instagrammable Locations in Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes still maintains a reputation for being a concrete jungle; the 70s brutalist architecture in the city centre doesn’t do it many favours but one thing is for sure – Here are a few of my all-time favourite locations in Milton Keynes for shooting photos: One rural, one foodie spot and one very MK! The new MK Gallery is a great location for budding photographers and those looking to add some colour to their photos. but it’s been tricky coming up with something that hasn’t already been taken, makes sense, and doesn’t isolate my audience that isn’t MK based but loves my content.
