Being surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and nature, the city is very conscious of staying eco-friendly, so we’ve gathered a list of eco tours and activities so you can travel around and see the sights, all while being ecologically aware and responsible to keep the city safe and clean.
For less than $6 dollars, you can travel around the city by light rail with a single day pass (less than $3 dollars if you are under five years of age or a senior citizen over 65 years of age) and visit all the best museums in town!
Apart from all the wonderfully green nature parks and reserves around the city, there are also other types of parks you won’t want to miss out on, especially if you like activities with wheels or boards involved: sports parks!
Rent a bike, assemble your skateboard, or take out your scooters and snowboards, because there are a bunch of parks you can go to for some kickflips and pop shuvits, such as the Downtown Denver Skatepark near the dog park on 19th Street, Evolve Actions Sports Park on South Jason Street, the Ruby Hill Mountain Bike Park next to the South Platte River, and Progresh over in Washington Street.
