The Philbrick Family

It has been a VERY long time since I have last written a blog post, but a lot of other photography work has been going on with my website , Instagram and lots of photoshoots! Last weekend I was very happy to photography the lovely Philbrick family who were the winners of my photoshoot competition , and we had a lovely time at the Museum of Natural History in Oxford. Florence and Henry were two of the smiliest, happiest little people I've ever photographed, and being surrounded by ancient skeletons and hundreds of different exhibits to look at made it just as fun for them as it was for me! If you would also like to book an interactive family photoshoot like this one, please don't hesitate to contact me - I would love to hear what ideas you have come up with! Family photoshoots are one of my favourite things to do and every session is different to the last

Zambia

This summer I was lucky enough to go on a volunteering trip with African Impact - they are an amazing organisation and I would definitely recommend the Livingstone projects! This summer I was lucky enough to go on a volunteering trip with African Impact - they are an amazing organisation and I would definitely recommend the Livingstone projects! I was on the medical project which involved home-based care and clinic visits, but there were also teaching, building, sports and girl impact groups. The girl impact group taught a group of girls to sew, and I was lucky enough to photograph them in their T-shirts they had made and give a short talk about photography!

#VantagePoint

Skip to main content This view of the sun setting over the Canadian Rockies reminds me of one of my favourite evenings ever: driving from lake to lake to get the best possible mountain views as the sun lit everything up orange and red as it set. It was a fast-paced evening of multiple lens changes; hopping in and out of the car to change lenses so that I wouldnt get dust on my camera's mirror or sensor. This post is part of Light.co's #VantagePoint project - Light.co have developed an amazing new type of compact camera which captures a photo through 16 different lenses simultaneously and puts them together to give a 52MP shot - but the camera is still only the size of a phone.
