This is my kid giving zero fcks about her momโs bikini wax appointment. โฃ โฃ Why? Because Iโve normalized bodies for her. We donโt do body shame in this house. โฃ โฃ Before we went I talked to her about how I donโt want any of my private hair to show when Iโm in a bikini at the hot springs and that was that. Then it turned into a really good conversation about bodily autonomy and inappropriate touching when she asked me if I trusted the person who I would be seeing. I'm talking tons of road trips to see her daughter at college and attending every single one of her son's events during his final year in high school. She was tired of feeling tired and knew something had to change if she was going to live a long, healthy life with her kids. โฃ โฃ Katy started a 100 day boot camp with me toward the end of last summer and she completely crushed it, losing 30 pounds and then some! โฃ โฃ I have said it before and I'll say it again--it's not about the weight you lose, it's about the life you gain! โฃ โฃ Katy loves taking long walks with her pups in the morning while she prays the rosary and she was able to rock the slopes in Breckenridge with more ease than ever during her family's annual New Year's trip. She loves the energy she has and is totally loving this journey she's on.
