The petite girl fashion is common within different cultures, but the go to (default) pairing (and maybe my personal favorite) may be the skirt and jacket. The style of jacket worn maybe a jacket over a shirt with an over-sized blouse or a jacket and skirt combination. For instance, a powerful outfit to me is wearing a mini-skirt, with an oversized blouse, a fun or neutral jacket, and some accessories like dainty jewelries. While oversized is great (I personally love oversized clothes) you also don’t want your clothes to be so big that it makes you look like you are drowning in clothes!

I’m honestly having a night photography moment (not sad about it at all)! While rewatching Gossip Girl, I was looking over my current pins on Pinterest– My sister and I planned on doing more night shoots and I am so impressed with these images. This metallic sequins

When I think about my style, mini skirts often come to mind as the go-to piece. Besides my love for them, they do compliment my petite frame (especially the legs!) And then there are the faux leather ones. Here in Texas, I’m able to wear them on their own all through early Winter.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Ok, given this year, I’m not sure how true this stays for most people. (my favorites are black and blue) and pair with either simple outerwear, shoes and minimal accessories. I also try to stick to velvet dresses the are semi-fitted and doesn’t go past knee-length (so us petites are not drowning in too much velvet!).
