The new campaign called Help Us, Help You is about encouraging people to take responsibility for staying healthy and managing their own health so they can get the best of the NHS. But putting off getting advice on minor health concerns could mean that the problem gets worse further down the line. Sometimes we overstretch our NHS, often for minor concerns that our local pharmacies can manage instead. Community pharmacists are healthcare professionals who can offer you clinical advice and over the counter medicines to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns.
Happy Fabric is an amazing heat transfer vinyl company also selling heat press machines. You need Happy Glitter Vinyl in the shades mentioned above, scissors, weeding tool, Star cutter, cutting mat, Silhouette Cameo, Iron, heatproof paper and a tea towel. Once the vinyl has been prepped, heat up an iron and place a tea towel in the show to protect your hands from heat. We had an amazing day making these trainers and a Mothers Day gift I will share in my YouTube video.
This time I have the lovely guest editor, Barri from Barri Jayne Makes. Hi, I’m Barri from Barri-Jayne Makes and I’m super excited to be a guest crafter here on Paige’s lovely blog. I’ll be showing you how to make one of my favourite crafty projects, a ‘no sew Lavender Bags’, something I’ve been making and gifting for many years now. Sharp fabric scissors, or better, if you have a pair of pinking shears they will give the fabric a much prettier finish, with the zig-zag effect.
The sun is shining again (maybe not for long) and I have started my Mindfulness journey. Mindfulness is a practice of different techniques and a lifestyle where you are more able to accept the moment, have less judgment and can see more clearly. So far I am really enjoying the practice of Mindfulness. Fitting in smaller practice like noticing, breaking autopilot and simple breathing techniques I find it easier.
