After a long pause, I have decided to begin a new blog in a new place and close my sweet Doting on Deirdre. Now I am no longer married, I have a new career, and I have a new lease on life. A healthier, brighter, more peaceful life, after years of deep darkness and trying to save something that needed to not be. My other online places ( Twitter Pinterest , and Facebook ) will stay the same but our new family blog will be here now at Justice League Headquarters
Now we usually had story time at bed and during circle time, but this was different. This lets the children know, oh! , it’s story time. Now not every story needs to be a full production, but if you are telling a story about an owl, pull out your owl puppet of figure. I do the same thing for them if it’s a farm story with their barn or a valentine’s story.
I and half of my department are on furlough from Colonial Williamsburg- This extra free time has also allowed to use our new Christmas art supplies and the shadow puppet theater that the elves brought. All and all we're loving January, despite not being the biggest fan of the cold and recovering from the flu that we all got right before Christmas. I am continually awed by the blessings that my children are and filled with such immense gratitude for the life we've carved out here for ourselves.
