Have you ever listened to that Camilla Cabello song “Real Friends?” I cant seem to get it out of my mind today. But the thing about it is, that’s what we’re all looking for. People who don’t smile at us when we’re around and stab us in the back two seconds later when we leave the room. And truth be told, we don’t have time for that bs. We don’t have time for anything but people who will support us and celebrate with us at the top. Don’t feed the sponges who want to soak up your knowledge but never implement. Don’t waste time with the stars and hit shots who claim they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but never back it up with action. And don’t you dare keep the gossips around my friend. That is the most toxic thing you can do for yourself and your business. Be mindful with the people you choose and make sure that they choose you too.

When I was 5 years old, I knew two things: 1. I wasn’t going to live forever. 2. I was going to live an outstanding legacy no matter what. And that hope, my friend, led me to a crazy life filled with working my butt off in ways that most people can’t imagine. Each project I took on did better than the last, and each season of life I lived taught me new things that I used to become even better. I could have settled for mediocre, but I demanded more from life. I followed my gut and took calculated risks. I never waited. Along the way, I canceled out the toxicity that was dragging me down. The programming that was being shoved into my head by big media. The standards society held me to. The shreds of the illusion that the 98% call “normal.” Stop it! Otherwise you will not claim your manifest destiny. You will sink to the depths of the 98% and be dead or dead broke at age 65. That’s insane, friend. When you’re young and don’t have responsibility yet, it’s the perfect time to take risks. But even if you aren’t, it’s so important to take those risks anyway. Because who are you if you don’t? Don’t wait until you’re struggling to step up, rise up, and do something with your life. You have a choice to do anything in your life right now. There are over seven billion people to connect with, plus close to two hundred countries filled with opportunity. Don’t waste a second doing something you don’t enjoy. Nothing is obligatory.
