Though located around 40 kms away from Kanyakumari, Padmanabhapuram Palace is an attraction that goes with your Kanyakumari trip and I surely recommend this among the places to visit in Kanyakumari in one day. Kanyakumari is not only an ideal place to watch the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset, however, it is the only place in India to see both moonrise and sunset simultaneously.
