This week's Wishlist Wednesday post is spotlighting one book, I have a load of Pop's and no real room for more, I have a lot of books that I need to read so I'm not buying anymore until I read a couple I already have, and there's nothing I'm really after aside from more space for bookcases, but that's something that I can magic myself. This adult contemporary sounds right up my street, first off, I love the hate to love trope, it's one of my favourites in contemporary novels, so that immediately caught my eye. Labels: 2017, Book, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Published 2017, Rachel Higginson, The Opposite of You, Wish List, Wishlist Wednesday

So it's no surprise that Andie's got her summer all planned out too. Suddenly she's doing things that aren't Andie at all - working as a dog walker, doing an epic scavenger hunt with her dad, and maybe, just maybe, letting the super cute Clark get closer than she expected. I have the biggest soft spot for father-daughter relationships, and the relationship between Andie and her dad, with the added issues surrounding her mother, really struck an emotional chord with me. There was drama between the friends in The Unexpected Everything, and while I don't want to say too much and give anything away, I will say that I didn't particularly agree with what Andie did.
I received this book free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review, this does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review in any way. I'm going to go into further detail as to why I disliked this book, but I'm going to state straight away that this book may trigger some people, so be aware of that before reading. She didn't want to tell her family, I can understand that, but I can't understand why she put herself in this horrid man's presence. I won't be reading the sequel to Live Me, and honestly, this is not a book that I'd recommend.
