When professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong.
Here at Cake Wrecks we've learned over the years that ordering a photo cake - and then bringing in your own photo on a portable flash drive - can be tricky. First a baker just drew a copy of the drive itself on the cake - rather nicely, I might add. Then a baker photocopied the drive and put that on the cake. Well today, I'm happy to report that one baker has finally - FINALLY - figured it out:
::adjusting hypothetical glasses that I *could* be wearing; YOU DON'T KNOW:: What would you say is your greatest weakness? And finally, when things get hard, are you able to take a firm hand? Well, I've just now decided we're moving in a completely different direction, but thanks for coming in! And thanks to Erica, Missy N., Telch, Anna R., Christy H., Justin J., & Danielle M. for giving a whole new meaning to "stiff drink."
Actually, looks like it's been a pretty rough week all 'round for 5-year-old girls: If I told you someone ordered "Congratulations Cub Scouts, Pack 47" on a cake, which of those words do you think most likely to be misspelled? It is, in fact, every word except that one: Two wrongs may not make a right, but two rights DEFINITELY make this wrong: You'll gladly foot the bill for that one, though, after I show you this: Thanks to Donne G., Leah S., Maura M., Anony M., & Diana M. for the womb with a view.
As you might imagine, this show has a lot of young fans, including 3-year-old Sunsara, who asked for a PJ Masks cake for her birthday. MEANWHILE, on the other side of our story, there's me, working my first-ever job as a cashier/shoe department associate manager at a discount department store chain. I'm torn between feeling sorry for Sunsara and laughing with delight, because dang, that's a good TJ Maxx logo. Here's hoping Sunsara's mom took her shopping after this and they found some awesome, discounted PJs.
