A Journey of a Thousand Miles

According to an ancient Chinese proverb: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. ~ According to Zig Ziglar, an American author, salesman, and motivational speaker, “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Do the Next Thing

It’s written with writers in mind, but it starts like this: Study the picture at the top of a page. So I went to see her and help where necessary, but with a clear picture in my mind that I couldn’t spend hours there, as I had to get on with the next thing! “If a thing is worth doing...."

If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well. Last year, I faced a book deadline, which I was battling to reach, followed with an already planned Book Launch (for the book that wasn’t yet published), I had family traveling to join me for the Book Launch If a thing is worth doing, it’s worth the risk that it might not be perfect. Thankful Thursday 2018

I embarked on a challenge to write about 2018 thanks that I could give during the year 2018. I based this challenge on a guest post by Daleen Reyburn on 11th December last year, in which she described how a similar challenge changed her way of thinking. The series began with a guest post, and I’m looking forward to another guest post in the near future written by Ruth on her experiences with this challenge. She too has had a challenging year with many ups and downs, but has found the Giving Thanks challenge a source of strength and encouragement.
