12 daily habits you didn't realise were bad for you

You don’t have to do everything in the healthiest way possible, but you might want to change some of your habits to be healthier day-to-day. You wake up in the morning and can get on with your day, so you figure you don’t need any more sleep. Getting enough sleep can help you stay healthy in a lot of ways, from promoting healing and improving your skin to supporting your mental health. It’s true that it’s the most important meal of the day because it gives you the energy you need to start your day off right.

Pippi's new chair & 5 cat beds your cat really wants

It’s not like they wouldn’t already have a bed (or two) each, but you can never have enough napping spots around the house, so I’ve heard. Today I’d like to introduce you to Pippin’s new sun lounger – or the best miniature cat chair I’ve ever seen, as I like to call it. So you’re looking for a cat bed but you’re flat is so so tiny that a huge cat house or a wooden cottage would take up too much of your precious space? This cute cat bed comes flatpacked which is pretty handy plus you can choose whether you put a cushion on the top for your cat to be able to lounge on it or whether you leave it without it and use this bed as a stool for some extra seating options in your living room or perhaps as a side table next to your bed or sofa.

Don't be afraid to speak out about pain: My story

Have you ever been in so much pain you found it easier to pretend it doesn’t exist? Because no one should be left feeling pain on their own – be it a physical pain or the kind that hurts in your head and your soul. If you can, then please share your story – here in the comments, on social media, on your blog, and help others who don’t feel like they have the courage to speak out about their pain. This post is in collaboration with Slater and Gordon Lawyers (thank you! ), however as you might be able to tell, this story (and uteral pain) is my very own, one I’ve been meaning to share for a while now, just haven’t found the guts to put it down in black and white.

Yoga Journal: 3 ways how to relax after a strenuous yoga flow

Although yoga has had nothing but an incredibly positive impact on me I’m still the first one to admit that sometimes I go overboard and I ache like there’s no tomorrow. People (who have never tried yoga) sometimes say that practising yoga is not an exercise, that you can’t hurt afterwards, that you won’t be out of breath
