I am a professional Bartender, that is my real job and I don't want to be anything else when I grow up.
For a little over 10 years, I have been instituting and overseeing cocktail programs in Kansas City. In 2017 I was fortunate enough to open a truly unique cocktail-focused lounge, styled after the West London cocktail scene. The Monarch Bar's cocktail menu is a study in flavors and inspirations all over the world, modeled by the migratory patterns of the Monarch butterfly.
I am a competitive person and thrive on cocktail competitions for a change of scenery, pace and creativity. Some of my allocades include Diageo World Class Competition Finalist, Bacardi Legacy Regional Finalist, winner of the Paris of the Plains national bartending competition, two-time national finalist in the Bombay Sapphire/GQ Most Imaginative Bartender Competition, and Kansas City's Best Bartender.
