Fall is one of the best seasons for menswear, in my opinion, because of fabrics like flannel and tweed, layering, scarves, and of course, outerwear. Though it’s almost too easy to style in a casual way Suede, with its texture, look, and the way it feels, is such a great way to elevate your outerwear game. This definitely skews more toward the casual side of things, but it is possible challenge the notion that this is only a casual piece of outerwear.
He Spoke Style was invited to view their latest F/W 2019 collection. Filled with plenty of popular names, such as Ring Jacket, Ascot Chang, Liverano & Liverano, and Drakes, the Armoury has been sourcing special items from all over the world as well as creating their own distinct products. From their cognac colored suede jackets to the the wide collection of Meermin and Carmina footwear, I found myself drawn to a few of their jackets. Made from a mix of cashmere and wool, it’s got all the details that I’m looking for in a sport coat; gun-club pattern, 3-2 roll lapel and unpadded shoulders.
During the last several years, I’ve gathered a collection of classic pieces to combat the years of tank tops and t-shirts that I’ve reluctantly collected. On the contrary, I’ve found that when wearing a camp collar shirt with some airy linen pants and espadrilles, it can actually look quite refined and perfect for a night dining al fresco. A great camp collar shirt can be a little flamboyant as long as the rest of your look is toned down. While it’s a personal preference, to me, the espadrille is the perfect footwear for any beach vacation.

Looking back on your wedding day tuxedo, do you have any regrets on what you wore? It’s safe to say that when I look back at my pictures in 50 years I won’t have to worry about my tux looking outdated. With having the knowledge you have today, what advice would you give someone who’s buying their first tuxedo?
