I’ve definitely been slacking on my Harper updates! The last official update I wrote was her 6 month update, but when she was 9 months old I also shared about my experience introducing her to solids. Thankfully every month on Facebook I share a photo of her along with some details about her life, so hopefully I haven’t forgotten everything! Harper definitely hasn’t had a normal childhood so far, but she doesn’t know any better and is loved, happy and healthy
I switched up my meals! You won’t see any chocolate zoats for breakfast or sweet potatoes for lunch in this post. I didn’t realize it until the end of the day, but all the meals I prepared this day were new-to-us and super fun and unique! I plan to share all of them as official blog recipes soon too, so keep your eyes peeled! As I shared in my 18 Easy Vegan Breakfast Ideas post, I’ve really been trying to switch up my first meal of the day
Who ate fruit pizza growing up?! Oh man, that was one of my favorite desserts as a kid. In fact, it may have been one of the first dessert recipes I made by myself
I did, however, manage to visit a handful and that’s what I’m sharing in today’s post: vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurants in Douglas, County Cork, Ireland! I’ve written a post previously sharing some vegan-friendly restaurants around the country and I plan to share a post on vegan-friendly restaurants in Galway, but today’s post is dedicated to the Cork area. There were vegan burgers, fresh bread, raw vegan desserts, falafel wraps, fresh salads, vegan burritos, vegan chocolates, desserts and warming drinks like hot chocolate and dairy-free lattes. Marcello’s is an Italian restaurant located in downtown Douglas and, while it’s not fully vegan, they ofter a fully vegan menu.
