Hi! If you read this, you're now legally obligated to go to St. Augustine to try The Press's apple crisp! I didn't even like apple pie, apple crisp, etc, until I tried theirs! Don't get me started on their incredible calamari, how they have the best burgers in St Augustine. I dare you to find a better burger in St. Augustine, that isn't from The Press, and I'll pay for it. *Tap, Tap,* Is thing on? 😅 First, let me start by saying I've missed all of you and this account so much. Me disappearing wasn't intentional. However, I needed the time and space to stop putting soooo much pressure on myself over a hobby. Especially one that I taught myself how to do. Taking pictures, editing, etc. Second, let's catch up on life changes: I'm in Jacksonville full time again! I'm going to attempt to pivot into some home-cooked stuff as well as restaurants. Am I back for good? I honestly am not sure, but I'm going to try to be as active as I used to be. The Jacksonville food scene is incredible, and I'm excited to start exploring again! Daytona will forever have my heart. Like this mind-blowing crepe from @cinnamontreecafe 💛

I've come out of my posting hiatus* for this incredible shake from @theyardmilkshakebar!! I mean LOOK at how massive the milkshake is! It is incredible, although I'm still finishing it hours later! If you're in Jacksonville, or passing through I HIGHLY recommend you try them out! And if shakes aren't your thing, they have ice cream, cookie dough and much more!! *I'll get back to posting regularly! I miss you guys💜

I've had @flourandweirdoughs saved to my Miami folder for a LONG time and they did notttttt disappoint! I was fortunate enough to go last weekend when they had the Hot Mango Summer croissant cube!! Which is filled with mango and key lime cream and topped with a heavenly meringue, fresh mango, lime zest and edible gold!! Saying it was delicious would be the understatement of a lifetime, but I will say if they bring it back I will have to consider another 4+ hour car ride down! Every single thing I tried was better than I could've imagined, and while they were unfortunately out of the it's brisket b*tch croissant, it just gives me another reason to go back!!! Have you tried Flour and Weirdoughs yet!?!?

Jacksonville! If you haven't been to @mogetee_jax, you're easily missing out on the best boba in Jax!

What's left to say about 1803 that hasn't already been said!? Anything I could say makes me want to go back like, right now! My girlfriend had their tomato basil pasta and she LOVED it. She said that, that one was one of the best she's ever had! It was a creamy tomato sauce and the flavors were balanced perfectly! And I've been dreaming of their amazing pizza since I left! Make sure you try their brownie because that was the perfect ending to an amazing meal! What's your favorite thing to get at @1803_pizza

If you love light on the sugar, then I hope you're excited because when Sugar Dough opens on Wednesday, you better be there! EVERYTHING from the drinks, baked goods and the pastries are *incredible*. It's hard to pick a favorite, but you absolutely have to try the cheddar furikake cruffle(it's hiding under the strawberry Croissant, which you also need to try). Are you excited to try @sugardoughbakehouse?!

This is different than my usual but I really don't care. My older brother passed away. 29. Writing this is hard because he's the person that pushed me to be creative. He would call me before dates and I'd tell him what to make. He taught me how to make quiche and told my parents I made it. He even would send me pictures of his food and ask me to post it. So here's a photo dump courtesy of someone I miss more than he loved breakfast. And he LOVED breakfast.

I find myself thinking about how amazing the Surf'nTurf Burger from @swededishtruck is. I mean LOOK at how much crab is put on this burger! Say Surf'nTurf isn't your thing, they have so many incredible burgers, grilled cheeses and a vegan burger that I can't wait to try! And I already know that you are past due on trip to visit them! Have you been to SwedeDish?

If you can't remember the last time you went to downtown Deland, change that because you need to try @Bakechop! I've gotten takeout twice from them and I am obsessed. This is the Sabrina burger (with bacon added) and it proves what we all know, there will never be a world in which pimento cheese, with pickled jalapeños and onion rings are not delicious on a burger! I could go on and on because I absolutely adore their food! Have you been to bakechop?

Have you tried @petit_pot!?! These delicious French desserts are definitely crème de la crème! And luckily for us they're 2 for 5 at @publix until 4/2! It's so hard to pick a favorite, but it's definitely the vanilla bean! Have you tried Petit Pot??
