The Perhentians islands, MALAYSIA. Truly an amazing and very relaxing destination to travel to. The recommended time to travel to these islands are during the dry seasons from March to November. For scuba-diving and snorkeling lovers the under-water wildlife will definitely be one of the highlights of your trip. Quick Tips For Underwater Photography 📸 1. GET UP CLOSE Get as close to your subjects as you can. Water absorbs light so the farther away you are, the duller the photo will be. ✅ 2. SHOOT EARLY IN THE MORNING Between 7:30AM and noon, when the sun is high and the natural light is at it’s highest. You’re going to want all the light you can get! ✅ 3. TAKE MULTIPLE PHOTOS With the fish movement and the fact that they will be swimming around, it is best to take as many photos as possible. ✅ 4. PLAY WITH YOUR COMPOSITION Get creative by trying different angles, playing with shadows, etc. ✅ 5. MAKE SURE YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS Nowadays there are hundreds of free apps that you can use like snapseed, VSCO, etc to take your photos to the next level! ✅

Perhentian Kecil island is a great option if you are looking to relax for a couple of days at the end of a busy trip. That’s what i did after walking 20km per day for two weeks. 🌴 And even though I’m not a beach person, marine life was so beautiful that it was impossible to stay out of the water. 🌊
