What do you call a pasta that can’t get into their house? ...Gnocchi 😂🔑 But jokes aside... @forksandtrails whipped up a 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞 with our Classic Jersey Italian Gravy and said it was so good... there were no leftovers! 🤤 Get their recipe 👇 Ingredients: • Half-can of Cannellini beans (drained) • 1/2 cup of raw cashews (soaked with boiling water for an hour first) • 1/2 cup of vegetable broth • 1 jar of Original Jersey Italian Gravy • Fresh spinach • Seasonings - oregano, basil, crushed red pepper • Pasta or Gnocchi Directions: 1) Process beans, cashews & vegetable broth in a blender until smooth. 2) Sauté spinach in a skillet. Add a jar of gravy. Add oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper. 3) Add “cream” sauce. You don’t have to add the entire amount of cream sauce. Add a little bit at a time until you like the consistency. 4) Serve over pasta or gnocchi. Enjoy!

Spice up your weeknight meals by treating the whole family to a delicious Ratatouille with Jersey Italian Tomato Basil Gravy 🙌 Get the recipe 👇 Serves - 6-8 Ingredients: 1 big red onion or 2 medium, diced 2 medium-small zucchini, cut in 1-inch cube 2 medium eggplants, cut in 1-inch cube 2 red bell peppers, cut in 1-inch dice 1 yellow or orange bell pepper, cut in 1-inch dice ½ red chili peppers, sliced 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced 1 jar of Jersey Italian Gravy Tomato Basil ⅓ cup of olive oil 1 ½ tsp salt 2 tbsp chopped parsley Directions: 1. In a cast-iron pan, or any other heavy-bottomed pan, heat around 3 tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat. Add the eggplant and cook while stirring occasionally until eggplant starts to get some golden color, about 10 min. Add more oil if necessary as eggplant tends to absorb oil when cooking. 2. Add the rest of the oil and the onions and cook for around 5 min or until soft. Add bell peppers, stir and let the vegetables cook uncovered for another 10 min stirring occasionally. Add the zucchini and cook for another 5 minutes. 3. Lastly, add the Jersey Gravy and chili peppers, season with salt, and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Add minced garlic, stir very well and let it cook for another 5 min. Taste and season with more salt and pepper if needed. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and more olive oil if desired and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy! 😋

Wait, maybe we're on to something here... 😂 Anyway, try out your classic lasagna recipe with our Tomato Basil Gravy and we PROMISE you won't be disappointed. INGREDIENTS: 1 box of preferred lasagne noodles 10 oz mozzarella cheese FOR THE BOLOGNESE SAUCE: 1/4 cup of Olive oil 1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup of dry red wine 1 onion, chopped 2 carrots, chopped 2 stalks of celery, chopped 1 jar of Jersey Italian Gravy Tomato Basil 1 tablespoon of tomato paste 1/2 cup of water (as needed) 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano or 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp of salt BECHAMEL SAUCE 4 tbsp butter 4 tbsp all purpose flour 4 cups of milk salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS: 1. Make the Bolognese sauce. Heat the olive oil to a large skillet on medium high heat. Add the chopped onion, carrots and celery. Saute until soft, around 7-10 minutes. 2. Add the ground beef and continue cooking until the meat doesn't have more pink spots. Add the wine and cook until wine is reduced. 3. Stir in the Jersey Italian Gravy, tomato paste, salt and herbs. Cover and simmer the sauce for 1 1/2 hours. Check the sauce a couple of times and add water if it becomes too thick. 4. Make the Bechamel Sauce: In a medium pot, melt the butter on medium heat. Add the flour to the melted butter and whisk very well. Slowly pour the milk to the flour and butter mixture and keep whisking the sauce until it gets thick. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 5. Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat the oven to 350F. In a 13x9 baking dish, pour 1/2 cup of bechamel sauce on the bottom of the dish. Top with one layer of lasagne noodles, 1/2 cup of bechamel sauce, 3/4 cup to 1cup of bolognese sauce and 1/4 cup of cheese. Repeat 3-4 times for a total of 4 or 5 layers. 6. Bake the lasagna covered for about 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes. When ready let the lasagna sit for around 20 minutes before serving.
