, I’m going to be real here, I haven’t gotten my make-up professionally done in years and years and years. I found that after a couple weeks of not using my lash serum, my lashes appear short and a little less fluffy. I personally think there are some brushes that are dupe brushes that work just as well as the expensive ones. I love love love my Tula under eye balm, Tula moisturizer, and Tula primer.

It’s tricky to find that balance of time, balance of energy, and balance of life. However, building a house is such a lengthy process, that I feel like I know my way around it pretty well. If you’re building a house, be prepared to spend that extra money on the things you really want. You don’t want to build this amazing home that doesn’t have all of the “big” things you want in it!

I spent my entire summer leading up to my teaching job creating an entire 7th grade curriculum from scratch. I never realized how many assignments I would grade, how many lessons I would change mid-week, how many students I would meet with regarding late work, etc. I am able to talk to them about ANYTHING, they give me emotional support (TRUST ME, YOU’LL NEED IT), and they are always there when you need to gossip a bit about life (lol, let’s be real, we all do it). Before I started this job, I thought I would literally dress up every day in these stereo-typical teacher-y outfits.
