In a study published in the journal BMC Public Health, researchers looked for an association between an irregular bedtime schedule and sleep quality, daytime sleepiness, and fatigue among undergraduate students in Taiwan. The results of the study suggest a high prevalence of both an irregular bedtime schedule and insufficient sleep among university students in Taiwan. Participants took one pill six hours before bedtime, the second three hours before, and the third at bedtime. The results showed that consuming caffeine three and even six hours before bedtime significantly disrupts sleep; even when consumed six hours before bedtime, it reduced objectively measured total sleep time by more than an hour.
Fire engulfed the iconic Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, France on Monday, April 15, destroying the iconic spire and rooftop from the back of the medieval church. Former US President Barack Obama tweeted, “Notre Dame is one of the world’s great treasures, and we’re thinking of the people of France in your time of grief. In a report by NBC News, Jossien Prouteau, 22, said he felt powerless when he watched the flames engulf the cathedral. Since the fire was contained away from the front façade, fire service spokesman Gabriel Plus told reporters, “All the works of art that were in the ‘treasures’ area of the cathedral have been saved.
This is why you’re all in when it comes to love – you’re not afraid to share your most intimate side with someone you can trust. For that reason, you’re not scared; you’re ready for the journey. You’re not afraid of giving your heart away if it’s to someone who can make you feel like royalty. You’ll do anything to avoid feeling vulnerable or dependent – letting your guard down to fall in love is something you’d rather not do until you’re comfortable enough in your own skin, a struggle in and of itself.
You tend to lose faith in your ability to complete something whenever you feel stuck. Self-improvement doesn’t mean contrasting when you’ve hit a milestone versus when your peers have; it means setting reasonable goals for yourself and appreciating how far you’ve come. You tend to dwell on what you could have done better, or else you feel like you don’t deserve the rewards. You tend to see other people’s silly mistakes as understandable, but you mentally beat yourself up when you make those same mistakes.
