What does it mean to be a great leader? How do I become one? Do I display the qualities of a leader? These are some of the questions that over the years I have been asking myself and even more so now that I am a college graduate. I have been fascinated by what allows some people to succeed as a leader and the characteristics that they possess that allows them to have influence

With the growing anticipation of warmer weather, I have been browsing and getting ideas of clothing, accessories, and beauty products to start incorporating into my spring wardrobe and routine. I am looking forward to spring into a new season (see what I did there) and with that a lighter and more playful wardrobe. For this upcoming season, I am gravitating toward more simple and easy pieces for the transitioning weather. One of my favorite outfits to wear is jumpsuits because they are easy to dress up for an event or to wear casual with a jean jacket and sneakers.

We typically seek advice from family, friends, mentors, pastors, or self-help books, etc. As much as I am sure I have received bad advice, I have received plenty more good. Whether you are learning to play the piano, just starting at a new job, becoming proficient in a new language… master it! This goes for work- being compensated fairly, this goes for relationships- be with someone who treats you like a queen, and this goes for health- making the right choices.

I am so grateful that this winter has not been as bitterly cold as it was last year. When I think about it, I don’t even know how I survived those single digit days last year
