As i struggled to get Olive to go to sleep last night, i had a momentary mental break from my *leaving for Bali in 2 days* stress. I was frustrated and tired myself and was anxious to get her to go down. But once she fell asleep, i thought about how much she has gone through in the past 2 months. We moved out of our house. We moved in with my parents but were gone a lot. We left her for the first time for 4 days. We traveled to 4 countries. She has slept in 10(!!) different places since May 24. As scary as this move might feel right now, I think we are all ready for a new routine in our new home (Villa!!!). I can’t wait for more travel adventures with my little family, but first, let’s just get to our new life. Paris ‘fit checks 👯‍♀️ I learned on this trip how little I actually needed to pack for myself when we were able to do laundry in all of our lil apartments. A truly beautiful day on the Irish coast 🇮🇪 To be honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of Dublin. Coming from Edinburgh, it was really busy and just not the vibe. It was important for John’s travel grant, though, so we got his sightseeing done and decided to spend the last day in Ireland in a sweet little coastal town : Dún Laoghaire. If you’ve got Ireland on your travel list, you must add this town! It was less than 30 mins via the DART train from Dublin. It has an awesome walking pier, lots of sweet restaurants and cafes, a beautiful park (People’s Park) and yacht club! You can watch the sailboats come and go out to sea and see the famous Howth cliffs in the distance.
