From the first time that Kalyn and I chatted on the phone I knew that we were going to have a blast adventuring around Rocky Mountain National Park for their engagement session. Rocky Mountain National Park engagement session will be featured on Magnolia Rouge soon! Faith recommended that we shoot in Rocky Mountain National Park, a place Kalyn When she mentioned the park as the site of the shoot I immediately thought of two specific locations in the park I preferred.
How stunning are these two together at Lost Gulch Lookout? ! It is always such an honor to be asked to photograph a couple’s engagement photos – and even more flattering when a fellow photographer asks. This chilly, fall morning on the mountainous Boulder landscape made for an epic, cuddle fest. I hope scrolling through their session makes your heart go pitter patter!
Chelsea + Ryan are some of the most fun-loving, spunky-spirited humans I have met, so photographing their two-year anniversary was a breeze at Chatfield State Park in Littleton, Colorado. To trust one another wholeheartedly, in sunshine or storm, home or away, pain or joy, to root for one another, to know the flaws and love them too, to find a way to make one another’s day full of laughter – that is marriage. The day was overcast and breezy at Chatfield State Park, but these conditions, like the perfect rainy day, have slowly grown on me, and have now become one of my favorites for capturing those soft, beautiful, quiet moments. We explored the Chatfield State Park’s trails overlooking Pike’s Peak country, its meadows, and even ventured through its picturesque streams and ponds.
